THE NEW ACADEMY SEASON BEGINS

On July 29, 2017, our director Rodger Schmidt will be on ice working with 12 Special CC Baden Members. These Curling enthusiasts will receive a day of Technical and Shot Making Instruction in German language Sessions. The program will be very Individual and therefore the reason to limit to 12 participants.

The program intends to give each participant specific methods and skill development tips that will improve there performance over a longer period of time. Therefore, there will be scheduled 2 follow up Sessions for these selected 12 to review and revamp – one in September and one in October.

The 2014 – 2015 Season was an outstanding success and The Curling Academy and it’s Director Rodger Schmidt want to thank all of our Curling Customers. Many of our Teams, like our Swiss Senior Women and our Russian Women, have participated in many successful Tournaments and International Championships. European 2014 Midway Update

Half way through the Round Robin portion of the European Championship has all going quite well for our Academy clients – RUSSIA. Our Women have put themselves in a favorable position by winning their first 5 matches, while the Men’s Team starts this day with a 3-2 record. The Athletes on both teams have performed well and rank at our near the top in Individual performance rankings, which hopefully is at least partly because of our Curling Academy methods and training over the last few seasons.

Still many more games to go and many bridges to cross!
